"Thus far the Lord has helped us."
1 Samuel 7:12
On October 18, 1991, God allowed seven people to join together in the home of the founder, Apostle Maria Green-Carr. At which time being led by the Holy Spirit, the founder and Pastor incorporated this ministry, thus becoming the Alpha Omega Fellowship Church in February 1993.
In October 1995, the fellowship purchased its present home which is located at 171-175 Parrow Street, in the city of Orange, New Jersey. Our belief is that God established this church in this community that we might make a difference.
For it is time, the clock is ticking. Every two seconds in a day, a child drops out of school. Every ten seconds, another child runs away. And every thirty seconds a child is abused and neglected. As a result of this, the entire community must become aware that it is time to wake up.
God helps those who help themselves. II Thessalonians 3:10 states as follows:
“For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
Therefore believing this, we have come to enrich this community through the Word of God. We desire to have a working relationship within this community, with every family, every church and its local government, believing that “United we can make a difference.”
One of our ministering tools within this fellowship for reaching this goal will be through our Covenant Care Outreach Ministry.
This ministry is designed to reach our youth in hopes of assisting them in developing Godly morals, a better working relationship with others through Jesus Christ to the entire community. The overall outcome will result in the development of unity, self-esteem and life survival skills, which will enhance our community through the Word of God.
We desire to be known as the Church within this Community having the community’s interest at heart, this can be done according to scripture.
